The dredger "Lantic Bay" forms a large part in the history of the operation and maintenance of Fowey Harbour.She was built at Brazen Island ,Polruan in the yard belonging to the harbour Commissioners and named after the bay one mile to the east and where she would dump vast quantities of silt over the years
